This team involves the administration and coordination of programs or strategies to facilitate the spiritual growth or discipleship of partners into Christ-likeness.
Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care team is a group of ministers who serve in pastoral areas including communion, baptisms, weddings, funerals and hospital and shut-in visitation.
Business Administration Ministry
This team utilizes their gifts of administration and organization to serve Praise Temple.
Mission & Evangelism Ministry
This team is involved in countless ministries with a focus on bringing God’s love to our communities and world. There are three primary ways to serve: through mission activities, our food and clothing giveaways and our street witnessing.
Congregational Care Ministry
This team connects partners to the Church community, providing resources and information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities and services at Praise Temple.
iGeneration
This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games and more.
iGeneration (Youth Ministry)
Join the team that is building the next generation, one dynamic worship experience, relevant Small Group, impactful retreat, and life-changing mission trip at a time! The nursery team leads children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions.
Young Adult Ministry (YAM)
YAM is the Young Adult ministry of Praise Temple. Our goal is to connect this generation to God through real and powerful worship, relevant teaching, and continued discipleship, and to inspire them to live a life devoted to the cause of Christ.
Ministerial Alliance Ministry
This is group of preachers who have expressed a divine calling upon their lives to take the faith to the world. The overall focus and purpose is to support all programs of the pastor with 100% compliance by assisting with the Call to Discipleship, preaching opportunities, baptismal services, worship services, Holy Communion, and any area deemed necessary by the pastor.
Security Team
Team members serve to provide a safe environment for families to worship God.
Protocol Ministry
This team works diligently behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in every area of our church. Serving opportunities include worship, baptism, conferences and special events.
Worship & Creative Arts (WACA)
Through vocals, instruments, or audio engineering, this dynamic team prepares the way for our congregation to encounter the presence of the living God. This team serves on stage and behind the scenes to create our large group environments every Sunday including building props, singing, dancing, skits, running a/v equipment including cameras, lighting and other visual elements.
Usher’s Ministry
This fun and enjoyable team is truly the first impression of Praise Temple! These team members prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
Greeter’s Ministry
This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Praise Temple. They welcome guests with a smile, encouragement and personal touch including refreshments so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.
Seasoned Saints Ministry
This team provides a variety of programs to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the seniors in the church and the community.
Events And Planning Ministry
Regular worship, church-wide events, and conferences at Praise Temple are creatively planned and energetically hosted by this team who places priority on valuing people and serving with excellence.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships. As a Community Group Leader, you have the greatest opportunity to connect with others, fulfill your passions, develop your gifts and live out the Great Commission.
Deacon’s Ministry
This team of servants is appointed by the pastor. They are servants who perform hospital visitation, assist widows, assist in baptism and Holy Communion, and they serve the pastor as assigned.
Women’s Ministry
Women’s ministry includes various service organizations involving women in prayer, missions outreach projects and activities that promote fellowship and personal growth. Meetings provide a time for special speakers, Bible study, prayer, and other activities.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
This team of trained intercessors covers the weekend and midweek services in prayer, preparing the way for the Lord. Members of this team also provide personal prayer in church services and specifically during the altar time. Join this team that is blazing the trail for God in our city!
Men’s Ministry
A monthly men’s meeting provides an opportunity to connect with other men, enjoy great food, and receive encouragement from guest speakers.
