Vision of the House

Praise Temple believes the church should be a full service center. The church is a living organism (not an organization, but a living organism) with Christ as the head. Therefore, we feel it is our duty to save the lost at all costs. We envision our fulfillment of Jesus’ charge to spread the gospel by:

(01)  Putting God First ad being let by the Holy Spirit; -Completed
(02)  Providing substance abuse counseling ( New Creation Ministry); -Completed
(03)  Establishing a mentor program to present positive role models for young people (ROOTS Ministry- Raising Our Own to Succeed); -Completed
(04)  Establishing an education center for tutorial and literacy advocate programs, to offer general equivalency diplomas (GED), job skill training and job referral and related assistance services; -Completed
(05)  Feeding hungry through a food/soup kitchen; -Completed
(06)  Providing a child care center and a Head Start Program; -Completed
(07)  Providing a 24 hour crisis/prayer line; -Completed
(08)  Establishing shelters for battered women, homeless  families, and substance abusers.
(09)  Establishing racial reconciliation focusing on a multi-racial ministry;  -Completed
(10)  Planting churches, planting and building churches in Africa; -Completed
(11)  Building or acquiring a multi-functional building; -Completed

(12)  Developing Praise Temple Community Development Corporation and an Economic Development Corporation;  -Completed
(13)  Providing a highly functional men, women, youth, and children’s ministry;  -Completed
(14)  Establishing a charter school, a private school, and a vocational school;    -Completed
(15)  Establishing L.L. Brandon Bible School; and Seminary (Fully recognized and accredited); -Completed
(16)  Opening a book store;  -Completed
(17)  Purchasing an airplane (P.T. Eagle) (18)  Providing a Senior Adult Daycare;
(19)  Develop a Christian Community which will be self-supporting (grocery store, laundry mat, fitness Center, Completed-beauty/barber shop, etc.);
(20)  Developing a retirement center with apartment complexes;
(21)  Developing community activities for youth with a Community Center;
(22)  Developing Children’s church and Youth church in their own facilities; -Completed
(23)  Developing a halfway house for those who have or had challenges with chemical dependency and those released from correctional institutions (Transitional center);
(24)  Developing a Gospel Light Club;
(25)  Developing a parenting center;
(26)  Developing a Business Incubator; travel agency, Credit Union, etc. which will encourage entrepreneurship;
(27)  Developing an International television ministry; and -Completed
(28)  Adopting a public school (Elementary, Middle, High School) -Completed
(29)  Developing transitional housing for boys and girls; and
(30)  To develop a Kingdom-minded people.

God had given us the vision, we have written the vision to make it plain so those who are of a like mind and willing heart may catch the vision and join the army of the Lord to fulfill the vision.
